From 2018 to 2025, the Pacsafe Turtle Fund has supported the EcosystemImpact Foundation in Indonesia, dedicated to protecting the last wild and remote islands off the Northwest coast of Sumatra, particularly Bangkaru Island, which is home to rare turtle and bird species. EcosystemImpact enlists rangers to protect these species, preventing potential extinction threats from poachers to the island's abundant sea turtle population, which annually yields around 200,000 hatchlings.
