It’s lightweight. It fits so much. I would buy another in a heartbeat.
Outbound I put backpack at my feet and it was a good fit. Inbound I placed it on its side in the overhead locker while my main suitcase was placed in the hold. I placed main essentials in the backpack but it was also convenient for packing an evening dress plus a pair of shoes. It was also convenient to carry as a conventional backpack. Colour marked easily maybe a darker colour would be more serviceable next time.
For a week traveling bag, it does pretty good job, just make sure that you don't over stuff it with too much clothes. The only complaint is that it doesn't have a dedicated laptop pocket, but the front pocket fits my 13'' Asus Zenbook with a MOFT sleeve pretty nicely.
Overall it's good for my needs.
Great addition to our PacSafe bag collection! We needed a smaller backpack that offered a lot of room without traditional dividers. This bag is perfect for awkwardly shaped items you need to carry on, like size 15 men’s shoes, that don’t fit in a standard backpack well. Love the PacSafe products.
I wish I could have seen this backpack in person before buying. I love the Pacsafe brand. Two years ago I bought my husband the commuter backpack, which he absolutely loves, and last year he bought me a small Pacsafe purse/backpack, so it seemed consistent to get this one for our recent trip to London.
Pros - the pack is durable, has good security features, and it's the right size for under the seat as a personal item on most low cost airlines.
Cons - the straps weren't comfortable after about three hours of touring in London before we could check in to our Hotel, and had no place to store my stuff, so carrying it was my only option. I wish there was better support - a sternum strap and hip belt would have helped. I also wish that the side pocket was expandable, so that my water bottle would actually fit in it when the pack is full. I would have paid extra to have those features on this pack.
That said, the pack is durable, water resistant, and my stuff stayed dry even through a light rain without an umbrella or rainfly.
