The locking feature on this bag is brilliant, no way a pick pocketer is going to have the time or finesse to get that lock open, especially with an actual lock on it. Also, the ability to be able to strap the pack to a fixed object and lock it on is fantastic. I was just at a hotel that didn't have a safe so I strapped the pack to a closet pole and locked it on, problem solved. It's great for going through airport security, put your passport, wallet, phone and the such inside the pack, lock it and no worries about anybody swiping anything. I just got back from traveling overseas in a rental car and I used to have to carry my backpack every time we left the car with my valuables in it, now I just grab the sling pack and I'm good, way lighter and more convenient. Also, when at a restaurant, I just slide the pack to my hip area and it's still secure on my body and out of the way, not even noticeable to other people. It does take a few times wearing it to find a comfortable position for it and figure out how to access the pockets but you figure out what works best for you. I do agree with the other reviews that it would be nice to have a pocket on the outside for when you're just walking around and want quick access to your phone, a boarding pass or the such but overall this sling pack design was well thought out and is fantastic for securing your valuable against theft.

This is a game changer for going through airports with free pockets. All of my gear fits and more! Its also fantastic for cycling uses. I love the locking system that basically makes it unlock able to anyone that has never used a pacsafe bag. Highly reccomended!

This is my first sling bag and used it for my holiday travel across Europe in last 2 weeks. I love it. It’s easy to carry, secure and keeps everything close to me. I like the feature that allows me to keep it secure while sitting in restaurants. The many pockets to separate my things makes it user friendly.
