I am impressed with the quality of this product but cannot comment on whether it will prevent pickpockets from getting at my valuables, however it should make it far harder compared to people carrying less secure bags.
The locking system employed seems very well thought out and after some practice is not too much of an inconvenience (if it was convenient, it wouldn’t be as secure right?)
Based on this purchase I have gone ahead and ordered a backpack, as if anything, being on my back its even more important to make it hard to break in,
This is an awesome small sling. Great size for essentials. The lock mechanism is genius. It's great how the lock can secure all pockets or just one, this way you can have quick access to items in the smaller pocket. Only wish there was more padding on the strap to make it more comfortable on the shoulder.
My wife has been asking me to get a more secure method of carrying our money and credit cards when we travel. I have tried different options, but they were either too uncomfortable or they looked stupid. Then I found the Pacsafe sling, it looks great and is very comfortable. I also really like the locking zippers. A truly great idea.
The most simple fix is replacing the zipper pulls on the inside pockets. The metal pulls rattle a lot when walking. String or paracord zipper pulls would reduce the noise to zero. It bothered me to the point that I cut them off and made my own paracord zipper pulls. Also the zipper lock is positioned at the bottom of the bag. It should be at the top so that an overflowing bag doesn’t spill out when unzipping a compartment. That way you can unzip it halfway and the items at the bottom are more secure. If an upgraded version of this bag were made, it should also include one small compartment on the outside of the bag that can be accessed without unlocking the zippers. Hey Pacsafe, feel free to make a 2.0, I don’t need paid for the innovation, but I’ll take a free 2.0 bag! lol. Great quality bag, thanks!
