I thought it would be his new travel wallet but he likes it so much it is his new everyday wallet. Compact but room for all he needs.

Love the features and design, but one question: does the external pocket work with a an apple airtag or would it block the signal?

The external pocket will work perfectly with an Apple AirTag. Our RFID-blocking technology only covers the inner compartments when it is completely closed and operates within a frequency range of 10 MHz – 3 GHz, which does not interfere with AirTag signals. The outer part of the wallet does not block any RFID or Bluetooth signals, so your AirTag will function as intended.

So far, I'm very happy with the RFID blocking zip wallet. For many years, I've preferred zip wallets, and this is the best one yet. The exterior card pocket is perfect for hotel key cards, and the interior is well designed for everything I need. It's wide, which isn't always convenient, but this makes it more difficult for pickpockets to extract, so I don't mind.
I have the grey one and it is nice to use and good quality but I regret getting the grey one, as it now looks grimy. Because it is fabric, it holds dirt I am a trades person so this doesn't help tbh. Im going to dye it black, so it looks better when I use it. If you are a supper clean type of person, I'm sure its fine but it is worth considering.

You’ve highlighted an important consideration. Lighter colors can show dirt more easily, especially for hands-on work.
No worries though! You might try applying a paste made from baking soda and water, or using a melamine sponge to gently clean the affected areas.
