Pacsafe® V 20L Anti-Theft City Backpack

I have been a world traveler for over 50 years. I recently purchased a Pacsafe 20 L for trip into central Mexico to purchase handicrafts. I had a business in Mexico thru out the 70’s and had experienced several pickpocket attempts. Although I had zero problems this trip , I knew I would be in busy handicraft markets most days and just wanted the added security. And Pacsafe delivered 100%.

The pack takes some getting use to , but once you learn how to use the safety closures , it’s simple and totally worth the effort .

If you love to travel , I can’t recommend Pacsafe highly enough . Very well designed and thought out .

I saw the updated model and I thought it was going to be better. Than the previous model..

They removed the tablet pocket

The upper zippers now have a fabric covering them 50/50 update.

But the biggest drawback is the strap, the pass through strap on the back.They made it so tight that if you add some items inside of the pocket, you cannot push the handle of the carry on baggage through is really hard.And in fact, I was thinking to cut it, and add in a piece to make it better.

The upgraded front pockets. They are good, but they have a big problem. Because if you put some items in the larger pocket, then on the inside, everything gets pushed. And you cannot add, like, say, a sweater. Inside of the main compartment because everything is so tight. So overall, the bag looks nice. The fabric feels of less quality, and it's just I regret that I changed the previous model for this one, and there's more expensive effor

I like the straps on this backpack as well as the separate sections. It's a little heavier than I expected.

I would have liked an additional pocket inside the small top compartment.

Solid backpack but shoulder straps are a little too wide.

Weighs slightly less than stated in their description. Even their 26L weighs slightly less than advertised. Hip strap can also be removed if you want to pinch every gram.

Product stands upright (tilts a little forward but a laptop or some packing in the middle should help)

Tested various daypacks from Cotopaxi, Patagonia, etc... Pacsafe is heavier of them all due to their security hardware probably.. but it is the winner overall.
