The locking mechanism being fixed to one side really limits right shoulder use. I'd also like the strap to be a bit wider to spread the load more. With a wider strap, it could have a small pocket for quick access to frequently used small things.

I would love to see a smaller backpack style sling (not a fanny pack form factor!) while keeping the bottle pockets!

The zippers can only be locked on one side. It's nice that you can swap shoulders to give a shoulder a break but the zippers would be on the other side. It makes the swappable shoulder strap a lot less useful unless you don't use the locking features which would defeat the purpose of getting this bag.

I also don't pack the bag full to minimize weight to prevent shoulder, neck and spine issues so a lot of space is wasted for me. I wish Pacsafe would make an 8L version with a bottle pocket (maybe just make a shorter version?). It'll also have a lighter base weight which would help with the weight management.

If Pacsafe made a smaller 8L - 10L version with at least 1 bottle pocket, then I'd get it immediately despite my issues with the 12L.

1. The switchable shoulder strap experience wasn't fully thought out. When you put the strap on your right shoulder and swing it to the front, the locked zippers for both compartments are awkwardly away from you. Pacsafe could have used their "self-locking zippers" instead so the zippers could be locked on either side. The current setup effectively makes it a left shoulder sling for me.

2. I'd like the tablet sleeve to be padded to protect my tablet from other items. I'd never use it for a water bladder (a leaky disaster waiting to happen) so I'm glad there are external water bottle pockets (a rare but very appreciated feature on slings).

3. I got the black version to be less noticeable so I'd like the turquoise zipper pulls and accents to also be black instead.

4. There could be more internal organization. It's mostly 2 big dump pockets so you dig for your stuff depending how much you're packing.

I know these issues are mostly known before buying but these are changes I'd like for the next version. Anyway, it's a decent backpack style sling with good theft deterrent features.

If the zippers are locked and when using on your right shoulder, then you swing the bag to the front, the zippers are away from you. This makes accessing your stuff very inconvenient.

Pacsafe should have put more thought into the switchable shoulder strap idea.

I was looking for a new bag that could fit my needs. I bought this one to be the bag I used when I’m on a city holiday in, were I can have a rain jacket, ekstra t-shirt and sunglasses. I wanted a bag that I easily could swipe round and open without taken it of. The big plus is the security it provides, so no one can get in it when I’m in a queue.
